During a recent family vacation, my experience at the Ibis Budget near Granville was solidly adequate for our needs. The hotel is well-situated on a main road, making it convenient for family outings. We did require a vehicle to access Granville itself, but the ample parking, including spaces for electric vehicles, was beneficial. Our room featured a wall-mounted television, which became a go-to for winding down the kids after a day of adventure, allowing them to settle in peacefully. The comfortable beds provided a good night’s sleep, ensuring we were refreshed for our explorations. The cleanliness of the hotel stood out, with both our room and communal areas maintained to a satisfactory standard. Breakfast was a useful start to our days, albeit limited—while the small ciabatta rolls were not quite the fresh baguettes one might hope for in France, they sufficed along with the coffee and cereal. The hotel’s location, with a supermarket and restaurants nearby, made it a convenient base for family activities. I found the Ibis Budget hotel offered a welcoming atmosphere for our family at a reasonable price.
